I was born in Russia, and grew up in Moscow. At first I pursued a career in science, I even earned a PhD in Neurogenetics. As I turned 30, I realized that so much science in my life should be balanced with art, so I started to draw and create sculptures. Then I discovered that the best materials for sculpture and drawing are people themselves. I can change them, enhance them, or make them look unusual just by key application of make up. The thing that I love most about make up is the way it can completely transform a person into something or someone else. I have been painting on people for four years now. I did make up for film, TV, beauty and fashion shoots, weddings and parties. But I love character creation the most, it lets me transform the inhabitants of my imagination into living creatures.
